The Mission

Hello and welcome to my latest blog,

This blog will follow my Warhammer and Warhammer 40k hobby and painting projects. I am currently working on an Eldar army (biel-tan colour scheme) and soon a Lizardmen army, unless Santa decides to skip the house for good.

My first project and main priority is to build myself a reasonably sized Eldar army (and hopefully a Tau one, after) in order to take part in slightly bigger battles than I have so far managed to do. There is currently a large disparity between my boyfriend's Tau army, and my Eldar one:

Tau Army, ~ 2500 points
My Eldar, ~ 700

I currently have quite a few boxes of Eldar to paint, most of which I got as a present for my birthday in November. My goal is to have them painted by the end of the Christmas holidays. My 'To Paint' - list includes:

x1 Warwalker, x1 Wraithguard/knight squad, x1 Eldar Battleforce (x1 Guardian squad with heavy weapon platform, x1 Dire Avenger Squad, x1 Wave Serpent and a bike. I also have a small box of additional guardians to add to my existing squads.
I use a Spraycraft airbrush (a very basic one) for the green layers of the models (blue in case of the dire avengers), the details and white parts I do by hand. I am not following a specific painting guide, and mostly pick what colours to use for specific parts based on personal preference. I undercoat all of my models black.

My future posts will show how I am progressing with my painting mission with pictures and detailed descriptions of the steps on the way.

Thank you for reading!
